Information as the fifth state of matter

A new experiment could confirm information as the fifth state of matter, changing the field of physics for good.

Physicist Dr. Melvin Vopson previously theorized that information has mass and that all simple particles store information, just like DNA in humans.  Now he is studying if information could be regarded as a state of matter.  To do this, he conducted an experiment to detect and measure the information in a particle through particle-antiparticle collision.  The resulting annihilation converts the remaining particle mass into energy.  Dr. Vopson predicts the energy of the infrared photons after erasing the information.  If the experiment is proven accurate, it could confirm that information is indeed a state of matter.

Without contradicting any law of physics, this discovery can help with further understanding of the universe including dark matter.
