What does my baby’s cry mean

A startup called Zoundream created a device that can translate baby cries.

The technology uses artificial intelligence and sound recognition to analyze and translate baby language.  Zoundream used machine learning software to interpret thousands of hours of international baby cries.  They then classified these cries into four categories including hunger, pain, gas, and want a hug.

The baby cry translator does not intend to replace parents’ intuition in understanding their babies.  Instead, it hopes to give parents help, confidence, and assurance during the challenging first months.

Do you think this game-changing technology will pave the way for a better parenting experience?  What do you think of this baby cry translator?  Please comment your thoughts below.
