Scientists in China found that a quick facial scan can reveal aging and disease risks

They identified patterns indicating biological age by comparing heat from the nose, cheeks, and eye area. Data from 2,800 participants showed the nose cools and the eyes warm with age, suggesting slower aging with a warmer nose and cooler eyes. The thermal profile links to health, predicting metabolic disorders like diabetes and fatty liver disease with over 80% accuracy. High blood pressure showed increased eye area temperatures.

This promising research highlights facial thermal imaging for early disease detection and healthy aging.
