A British company created a real-life invisibility shield.
Invisibility Shield Co. used a precision-engineered lens array to direct much of the light reflected from the subject away from the observer. This sent it sideways across the face of the shield, to the left and right. From the observer’s perspective, the background light is effectively smeared horizontally across the front face of the shield over the area where the subject would ordinarily be seen.
The shield performs best against uniform backgrounds like foliage, grass, rendered walls, sand, sky, and asphalt. It also works well against defined horizontal lines like walls, rails, painted lines, and the horizon.
After countless testing and iterations, the company managed to create what is believed to be the best invisibility shield ever made.
