The company wants to take advantage of the carbon-capture capability of algae to help clean the atmosphere. The process is achieved without using essential freshwater. Instead, it uses ocean water and de-acidify it. The technology is also solar-powered.
While changes in human behavior can lower carbon levels, it just takes time. So these algae farms can cost-effectively help clean the air. It also cleans ocean waters to pre-industrial levels.
