3D-printed tiny homes made from recycled plastic

A company has developed 3D-printed tiny homes made from recycled plastic.

A Los Angeles-based startup, Azure Printed Homes, uses a large 3D printer to make these houses. The real estate development firm Re-Inhabit chose the company to construct 10 rental homes in Southern California. The plastic used to print the homes is recycled from post-consumer products such as water bottles, making the homes environmentally friendly.

The process is efficient and reduces the environmental impact of constructing a house. According to the company, it can build homes 70% faster and 30% cheaper compared to the “traditional home construction methods.”

The homes are also energy efficient and have built-in solar panels and rainwater harvesting systems. The company hopes to use this technology to provide affordable housing to people in need.

What do you think of this construction method? Will 3D printing be the future of construction? Tell us your thoughts below.
